Gang Rules
Besties RP Senior Management reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate gangs at any time to maintain server integrity and protect the overall RP experience.
1. Gang Types & Registration
Gang applications are located in the Discord under the Applications section. Groups applying must submit an SOP and receive staff approval.
Gangs must have between 5 to 20 active members. Groups under 5 people may still commit crimes together casually, but groups over 5 must open a ticket to become recognized.
There are two types of gangs in Besties RP:
- Recognized: Your SOP is approved in a ticket. You may operate as a gang, rep your identity, and participate in gang RP.
- Official: Selected by GOV for outstanding roleplay contributions. Unlocks exclusive perks and deeper city involvement.
2. Basic Expectations
- You may not be in more than one gang across any of your characters.
- Conflicts must be based on strong in-character reasons. Random violence or harassment is discouraged.
- Gang leaders must notify GOV if inactive for over a week — failure to do so may result in loss of gang status.
- Recognized status does not mean immediate Official status. This depends on server needs and availability.
3. Structure & Roster
- Must have 5 to 15 members at all times.
- Each gang must have at least one designated leader.
- An updated, detailed roster must be maintained.
- Players cannot be in multiple gangs across any of their characters.
4. Suspension & Disbandment
Senior Management may suspend or disband a gang for rule violations. During a suspension:
- No gang activity (e.g., claiming turf, dealing drugs, etc.).
- No gang colors, clothing, vehicles, or symbols may be used.
- Self-defense is allowed if provoked, but your actions will be monitored closely.
5. Strike System
1st Strike: Official warning.
2nd Strike: Automatic suspension.
3rd Strike: Permanent disbandment of the gang.
6. Identity & Representation
- When committing crimes as a gang, you must wear your gang’s identifiable attire or colors.
- Crimes committed out of uniform are considered personal actions.
- You may impersonate other gangs for to further an RP storyline, but not to intentionally get them punished with staff.
7. Rivalries & Pressing
- If someone wears your gang’s item, you may give them one warning to remove it.
- If they don’t comply, you may escalate within RP limits.
- You may not target players solely for wearing similar colors or driving similar cars.
8. Alliances
- Only one active alliance is allowed at a time.
- Alliances may assist with wars, drug runs, robberies, or crafting.
- Allies are not part of your gang and should only be involved during major ops.
- 30-day cooldown before switching alliances.
- All alliances must be reported to Senior Management via ticket.
9. Gang Wars
- Both gangs must meet in-character to discuss war terms.
- No new members can be added during an active war unless both leaders and staff approve it in a ticket.
- Create a gang ticket with both leaders and Senior Management to finalize terms.
- Agree on a participant cap (e.g., 15v15).
- Allies may contribute up to 2 members, but total headcount must stay balanced.
- Breaking agreed war terms results in an automatic loss.
- RP options should be exhausted before starting a war — it is a last resort.
10. Law Enforcement & EMS Interaction
- No third-party interference in gang-on-gang or gang-vs-PD scenes.
- Both gangs and law enforcement must follow proper RP initiation before escalating.
- Calling
/911
or/callmedic
during a gang war is not allowed. - Police are not required to enter gang turf if active gunfire is ongoing.
